This film is independently made & completely self-funded. I am the only crew member of the film (director, producer, writer, sound, cinematographer, editor, etc). This is a DIY film, by a rocker, for rockers. - Daniel Sarkissian
Daniel Sarkissian is a filmmaker from Toronto. His film 'What is Classic Rock?' (2017), featuring artists from KISS, Grand Funk Railroad, The Guess Who, Twisted Sister, Triumph, Guns N' Roses & several others, is his feature length directorial debut. Prior to 'What is Classic Rock?', Daniel directed, produced & wrote several short films, winning multiple awards across the United States, and has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film Studies from Ryerson University (2013). He has worked extensively as a TV production assistant, most notably for Moses Znaimer's ZoomerMedia, and as a script analyst for Atom Egoyan. He has appeared as an actor in various TV commercials for McDonalds, CBC & The Ontario Government. He is an avid guitar player.
