Chairman & Executive Festival Director
Brad has over 20 years of experience in community engagement & social commerce technology development. Prior to that Brad served as a Combat Engineering Sergeant in the United States Army before serving over a decade as V.P. of The Hanleigh Companies, America’s first-ever direct underwriter for Lloyds of London, specializing in entertainment, professional sports and high net worth corporate risk management. After the sale of Hanleigh in 2001 Brad moved into technology as Co-Founder & CEO of Community Incorporated and 365Advantage Software where he managed Web development projects for over 100 organizations worldwide. He was also appointed by then Governor Tom Vilsack in 2001 to serve on the inaugural Vision Iowa Board to help re-imagine Iowa’s future by leveraging over $1.2 billion dollars in community and economic development. In 2011, Brad launched secure Cloud services R&D firm Knowledge Through Data LLC whose communication software managed multiple complex merchant commerce systems with First Data and logistics tracking of U.S. Customs inspected international shipping though the airport of one of America’s largest cities. In February of 2014, Brad financed the acquisition of the Hollywood Film Festival before managing acquisitions of other related “Hollywood” properties of the Hollywood Film Holding Corporation. In March of 2017 Brad was invited to share his vision for Hollywood at Variety’s welcome reception at the Cannes Film Festival and that June also invited to speak at the Shanghai Film Festivals “Venire Days” event where he gave Hollywood’s blessing to the new joint Shanghai/Venice Film Festival “Great Belt & Road Grand Jury” competition. He was also an invited presenter at the 2017 “Chinese Academy Awards for Acting” in Beijing. In 2018 Brad recruited the participation of an exceptional entertainment and finance leader as Hollywood Film’s new CEO and became Chairman of Hollywood Film (HoldCo) and Executive Director of the Hollywood Film Festival.

David B. Knott (Dave) has spent a nearly 20 year career in executive level positions in business, finance, and, investments across the media & entertainment and financial sectors. Prior to joining HFF, Dave was President and CFO of Mad Old Nut Productions, Inc. (MONP), a multilevel media and entertainment company based in Los Angeles providing post-production products and services to some of the most popular and successful TV shows in the world including, The Walking Dead, Gotham, Supergirl and The Flash. Dave oversaw all business activities of the company, including accounting, finance, legal, real estate, tax and transaction analyses, resulting in +300% organic sales growth during his tenure. Dave was also on the Board of Directors and remains a shareholder. Prior to joining MONP, Dave began his career in finance in 2001, working for Cantor Fitzgerald in New York. In 2004, he was selected as one of a three-person team to start Cantor Fitzgerald’s equity business in Asia and relocated to Hong Kong. Dave was promoted to Director of Asian Equity Derivatives and also became one of the youngest Equity Partners of Cantor Fitzgerald LP in the company’s history. Dave graduated from Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Science in finance and was a member of the Varsity Golf Team. He is a past Treasurer of the Georgetown Club of Hong Kong and currently a member of the Georgetown Entertainment and Media Alliance (GEMA) and an Alumni Admissions Interviewer. David also serves on the Board of Directors, Finance Committee and Development Committee of PAVE (pavingtheway.net), a national nonprofit that works to shatter the silence of sexual violence through advocacy, education and survivor support.
Chief Financial Officer
Marco brings over 20 years of experience in corporate structure, organization, accounting, real estate development and construction, asset management, project management, property management, HUD Programs & Financing, LIHTC, Bond Financing, Film Development, Production and Investment, Broadway Theatre Production and Investment. He has professional memberships with the National Association of Realtors, California Association of Realtors, Burbank Association of Realtors, Pacific West Realtors, Affordable Housing Management Association and The Housing Association of Nonprofit Developers. Mr. Gomez is also the Chief Financial Officer for Los Angeles Stage Alliance Board of Governors and the Ovations Rules Committee for the Los Angeles Ovations Awards; Chief Financial Officer for Spare Some Change, a California non-profit organization dedicated to preventing and assisting run away youth and other arts based non-profits. Mr. Gomez is also an award winning director (BroadwayWorld, LA Weekly, NAACP, etc) in Los Angeles for his work with DOMA Theatre Co and his recent Broadway credits include - An Act of God, Matilda, On Your Feet, The Color Purple, Latin History For Morons). His recent acquisitions led him to develop films in the US, Rio de Janeiro, and Rome.
Festival Global Grand Jury Governor | Logistics Advisor, United Nations
Holger is a veteran film festival Director and Producer with years of international event experience, from founding the Peace & Love Film Festival of Sweden to serving as a music & film events producer at SXSW since 2007. Holger has also served in leading a number of international procurement operations for IKEA and recently accepted an invitation to apply that vast experience in a global supply chain role with the United Nations. The HFF was privileged to have Holger represent the Festival as a Hollywood Ambassador during the 2018 Berlin International Film Festival where he lead meetings with National delegations from around the world in preparation for the global expansion of the HFF’s new Global Grand Jury Competition.
Festival Executive Events Producer
Doug Campbell has worked in the television, film and live-audience event promotion business for over 30 years. Doug was the CEO and Founder of Celebrity Promotions International (CPI), and produced commercials for Sony with Steven Tyler and ESPN with Sugar Ray Leonard. Fifteen years later Doug still works with Leonard managing an extensive outdoor digital display inventory for Velocity Outdoor Media. Velocity's network is owned in part by Leonard whom Doug introduced to the company, now growing across the U.S. from Atlantic City to Chicago, Arizona... and soon Los Angeles. Doug also signed a multi-million-dollar sponsorship deal for the show "The Contender”, hosted by Leonard and produced by Mark Burnett Productions and DreamWorks Television. Doug also helped run the Live Contender 1 Finale on NBC at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas. Doug hasn’t wavered in his dedication to the sporting arena and has become an icon in boxing promotion around the world after promoting mega boxing events with HBO, Showtime, ESPN, ESPN2 and Fox Sports Net.

Festival Executive Brand & Communication Directors
Allié and Jack McGuire are seasoned social entrepreneurs who are the Founders and Owners of the marketing agency, J+A Design, and production company, J+A Productions. They are also the Founders and Owners of Awearness Ties (awearnessties.com), a line of empowering ties and educational guides that raise awareness and funds for causes. Allié first joined the HFF immediately after its acquisition in 2014 and has served in many roles within the organization. Jack McGuire, her husband & Co-Producer, joined the team to manage the social media and live stage production of HFF’s 2017 Jury Class Honors Ceremony at the prestigious Paramount Theater on the Paramount Studios Lot in Hollywood. Together, they designed and developed the HFF website and produce all visual assets for the brand.
