As Founder and Managing Director of Profitable Good Group, Tom has over 25 years of senior management consumer products/retail experience in strategy, operations, global business development, traditional and digital marketing, and manufacturing. Tom conceived, financed and sold two consumer product companies while simultaneously founding and operating one of Los Angeles’ largest homeless outreach/community awareness non-profit organizations - The Giving Spirit - directly serving over 55,000 homeless lives since 1999 with the help of over 18,000 volunteers. He has successfully operated venture, private-equity and owner-financed consumer product companies that created, branded and launched 40+ products, many still sold worldwide. Tom has played a lead role in obtaining financing for diverse companies and is a Senior Fellow at USC’s Marshall School of Business in its Social Entrepreneurial program.

Tom’s unique and parallel success in building high and measurable ROI for investors, employees, donors and volunteers allows him to navigate and arbitrate the Festival’s shared values strategy - holding all stakeholders accountable for maintaining the integrity of the Festival’s core values while inspiring, delivering and promoting powerful, profitable and purpose-driven content to drive and initiate social and global impact.
